Job Summary
Location: Lagos
Job Details
- Responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations within the Warehouse.
- Participate in planning meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily work-plan.
- Give daily/weekly/monthly reports detailing health and safety within the warehouses.
- Design training programs to provide safety awareness education.
- Review the Incident Action Plan for safety implications.
- Design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety and Health Plan (SSHP).
- Inspects the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment.
- Conducts toolbox meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 2 years’ HSE experience in a the FMCG/Manufacturing environment
- Very good understanding of safety procedures are related to a Warehouse/Distribution Centre
- Numerical skills and a high level of computer literacy
- Effective problem solver
- Strong attention to detail
